About Us
The Sahakar Pragya Centre on Good Practices (SPCGP) is a knowledge centre that is dedicated to sharing good practices deployed across various activities and sectors in the cooperative ecosystem. Earlier, with reference to strengthening of the cooperative movement in India, the Ministry of Cooperation had highlighted the need to establish a knowledge exchange platform that disseminates good practices and successful models of various cooperative ventures across the world. For this purpose, cooperation between the International Cooperative Alliance - Asia Pacific (ICA-AP) and LINAC, NCDC was suggested . Accordingly, a CHINTAN SHIBIR - Brainstorming Session was organised by LINAC, NCDC, on 17th Nov, 2021, which resulted in establishing this knowledge centre to document and disseminate the various good practices deployed in cooperative ventures, across multiple sectors and domains.Thereafter, LINAC and ICA-AP also entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further the SPCGP to implement the recommendations made in this brainstorming session.The key functions of the SPGCP are as follows
1. Collate, Review and Establish a library of Good Practices in Cooperatives ecosystem.
2. Develop a Repository Portal and Exchange Platform for the dissemination of Good Practices across Cooperative enterprises.

Record Memorandum For technical collaboration between LINAC and ICA-AP
On January 18, 2022, a record memorandum was signed between LINAC and ICA-AP. This document enters both the organizations into technical collaboration, where they affirm to bring together their respective core strengths, experience and institutional objectives for the advancement of research, study, documentation, and training for the growth of the cooperative sector.
